Restructuring the economic systems on the way to an additive economy
The article discusses the issues of additive economy and its key components: additive technology and additive manufacturing. The study analysed the competitive advantages (direct prototyping, material and energy savings, the ability to work without human intervention, dematerialisation of product transport and storage) and the challenges of the additive economy. As a result of the research, directional proposals for restructuring systems were formulated towards forming an additive economy. It was pointed out that transforming into an additive economy requires new social institutions.
