The organisation of meetings "practitioners for students."

In addition to research and teaching activities, Zbysław Dobrowolski also conducts activities promoting science.

Among the activities popularising science, the following one can mention:

the lecture by a representative of the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg for scholars and students,
the lectures by voivodship marshals and the President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland for researchers and students of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow,
the lecture by the Financial Ombudsman of Poland for students.

Promotion of good practices

In the years 2013-2017, Zbysław Dobrowolski organised seminars or training on the issues of preventing the occurrence of organisational pathologies for employees:

the National Health Fund of the Zielona Góra Branch,
National Labour Inspectorate, Branch in Zielona Góra, Regional Accounting Chambers in Zielona Góra and in Szczecin,
for prosecutors of District Prosecutor's Offices in Gorzów Wlkp., Szczecin, Koszalin, Appellate Prosecutor's Offices in Szczecin and Poznań.
At the request of the management of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, in 2015, he conducted seminars for over 170 representatives of ministries and central offices about counteracting organisational pathologies as part of the government project implemented under the Government Program for Counteracting Corruption for 2014-2019.
Zbysław Dobrowolski is the organiser of four Conferences of Public Institutions in Lubuskie (from 2014 to 2017) devoted to solving management problems in public organisations.

The organisation of international seminars

He organised:

International Poland-Germany seminar, attended by, among other things, representatives of the German Supreme Audit Institution, voivodes from provinces bordering Germany, offices of administration, and scholars from the Jagiellonian, Zielona Góra, Szczecin and Agricultural Universities in Kraków. The seminar's subject was the issue of effective solving of management problems in public organisations and creating public trust,
International seminar Poland - Albania with the participation of representatives of the supreme audit institutions from Poland and Albania, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and public administration. The seminar's subject was, among others, Polish solutions, including intersectoral cooperation, to ensure reliability and accountability in public life and create public trust.

Participation in conferences and seminars

participates as a speaker in many conferences, and non-scientific seminars, including the Cross-border Local Government Forum of Western Poland, which took place in 2015 at the Marshal's Office in Zielona Góra,
participates in a conference organised by the Regional Branch of the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors in Zielona Góra, entitled "Reporting responsibility and responsible reporting",
the IIA Poland conference "Cooperation - it pays off!" organised in Iława by the Institute of Internal Auditors,
in 2017 participated, among other things, in the conference entitled "The practice of non-financial reporting. How to meet the new requirements of the Accounting Act "organised by the Ministry of Economic Development in Warsaw,
in the 15th Local Government Capital and Finance Forum in Katowice,
at the seminar organised by the Tribunal de Contas in Lisbon,
in a seminar of the supreme audit institutions from Poland, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Indonesia, Qatar, Germany, Austria (Prague),
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Indonesia,
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Malaysia,
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Tanzania,
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Equator,
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Germany,
seminar of the supreme audit institutions in Washington D.C., USA,
seminar organised by the Ministry of Justice concerning, among other things, the issues of transparency in public life,
in the 17th Local Government Capital and Finance Forum in Katowice,
in 2020, an international scientific conference in Dubai.

Participation in world conferences

Zbysław Dobrowolski was a Polish representative at two conferences of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe BWE concerning, among other things, good governance issues. In 2012, he delivered a speech in Prague during the OSCE conference. He participated in numerous conferences organised by the International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management in the USA.
